1. Agreement and Eligibility

These Terms govern your use of the Petcrest website and app operated by Petcrest Technologies Pvt. Ltd. By registering or using the services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Users must be at least 18, capable of entering a binding contract and provide accurate information. Access may be refused or suspended for material violations, subject to applicable law.

2. Platform Features

Petcrest may offer pet profiles, Pet Vault, reminders, Petzy AI, community groups, discovery and booking of boarding, daycare, walking, grooming, veterinary services, online consultations and pet products. Availability, fees and functionality may vary by region and feature. We may introduce, modify or discontinue features on reasonable notice where appropriate.

3. Account and Pet Vault

Keep login details secure; notify Petcrest promptly of unauthorised use. You control records uploaded to your Vault and must ensure your right to upload them. Do not upload unlawful, misleading, infringing, third-party-confidential or malicious material. We provide storage and retrieval tools, not a guarantee of medical record completeness or permanent access; retain independent copies of essential pet records.

4. Petzy AI and Veterinary Disclaimer

Petzy AI provides general informational assistance and is not a veterinarian, diagnosis or emergency service. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect and must be checked with a qualified professional. For urgent symptoms, poisoning, injury or breathing difficulty, contact an emergency veterinarian immediately. Do not rely on reminders as the sole way to administer medication or schedule essential treatment.

5. Independent Service Partners

Unless expressly indicated otherwise on a specific listing, boarding, walking, grooming and veterinary services are delivered by independent partners, not Petcrest employees or agents. Listings do not constitute guarantees of safety, qualifications or specific outcomes. Partners remain responsible for their services and applicable licensing, staffing, animal-welfare requirements and professional obligations. Petcrest may verify partners and remove listings but does not promise exhaustive vetting.

6. Bookings, Payments and Refunds

Before checkout, users must be shown the total price, taxes, partner identity, slot, cancellation window and applicable refunds. A booking is confirmed only when the app explicitly confirms it. Payment processing may be performed by regulated third-party gateways. Cancellation and refund conditions must be displayed for each service before purchase, consistent with applicable consumer law; statutory rights are not excluded. 7. Community Conduct

Do not post harassment, abuse, hate, threats, deceptive advertising, unlawful or infringing content, animal cruelty or misleading health advice. Respect others’ privacy and obtain permission before posting their details or photos. Petcrest may moderate, restrict visibility, remove content or suspend accounts consistent with its published moderation practices and applicable law. Report concerns at grievance@thepetcrest.com.

8. User Content and Intellectual Property

You retain rights in your posts and pet images. You grant Petcrest a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, transmit, display and process such content solely for operating and improving requested services, subject to privacy settings. No promotional use of private Vault documents or a user’s likeness without separate permission. The Petcrest brand, software, designs and proprietary content remain owned by Petcrest or their respective owners.

9. Prohibited Activities

No scraping, unauthorised access, reverse engineering where unlawful, bots designed to impair services, fraudulent bookings, impersonation, malware, unlawful product sales, misuse of another user’s Vault or attempts to bypass consent and payment controls.

10. Third Parties, Products and Insurance

External providers may have separate legally valid terms and privacy notices. Any insurance listing or integration is informational unless the relevant regulated insurer/intermediary clearly contracts with the user. Petcrest does not represent itself as an insurer or veterinary professional merely by providing discovery and technology tools.

11. Liability and Consumer Rights

Services are provided with reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law. Petcrest is not liable for indirect or consequential loss to the extent legally permitted, but nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including consumer rights, fraud or wilful misconduct. Any monetary cap requires legal review and must not unfairly restrict statutory remedies. Claims about partner negligence will be assessed based on each party’s actual role and applicable law.

12. Suspension, Exit and Changes

Users may request account closure and data deletion subject to the Privacy Policy and legal retention requirements. Petcrest may suspend users for safety, fraud or repeated breaches with proportionate process. Material changes to Terms will be notified where appropriate; continued use after the stated effective date may constitute acceptance where lawful, but changes requiring fresh consent will not rely solely on continued use.

13. Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Courts of competent jurisdiction in Dehradun, Uttarakhand may have jurisdiction, without limiting mandatory consumer forum rights or any other non-excludable legal remedies.
